Educators engage in career-long learning.

Below are several artifacts of learning from an education conference I attended in Vancouver, BC on December 6, 2018.  This conference was produced through the University of Northern British Columbia’s and Vancouver Island University’s education departments and held at the Vancouver public library.  Throughout the day we distinguished the differences between place and land by observing historical changes in the land and space we were learning on.

(September 2019) Below are some artifacts of learning from an outdoor lesson that was presented to my cohort at UNBC by a local resource teacher from School District no. 57.  We learned about some conifer trees that grow close to UNBC campus as well as a mushroom and it’s edible properties (Edible until decomposition).
